On Call Today

This is the shortest call day. I actually got to go home at 5.30 pm. My usual calls end between 8 pm to 10 pm. It's becoz of the upcoming CNY causing the surgery list to be short. I just hope I don't get called back to work tonight. I just need to survive till 8 am tomorrow. Chances are high coz if anybody needs surgery, the surgeons will rather do it now than come back during the actual CNY day.

I'm working half day tomorrow. After that, I'll have to bathe the dogs coz I won't have time on Sun since I need to prepare for the reunion dinner. Oh shoot! I just remembered that I haven't prepare the ang baos yet! So many things to do, so little time.

Going to do a lo hei later when my dad comes home from work. My mind is already in the PH mode. But it's not like CNY is fun lah. It's a break from work. Got Jeff to buy me the 3rd book on the Twilight series, Eclipse. The 4th book, Breaking Dawn is out of stock. It'll give me something to do at his relative's place. The books are damn good lor. I super don't feel like putting it down when I start reading it.

My dry, cracked feet are killing me. The cracks are terrible. So I've taken to applying the cream for cracked heels & wearing socks at night. It seems to help a bit. My dad's back! I'm going to fix up the yu sheng! Don't know why I'm so excited to eat it. I used to hate it a lot until recent years. :P
