Crazy Us

If you ask me what's the most enjoyable part of working at my work place, the answer definitely isn't the surgeons. Sometimes, it isn't even the colleagues. What makes working at my current work place bearable is my 4 person clique. The 1st girl, SH, joined 3 mths before me, the 2nd girl, CS, 2 mths before me. The 2 of them formed their 2 person clique 1st. I joined, followed by the last girl, Jus, 1 week after I joined.

Being new, the 4 of us just got together. Shared many laughters & confessions. Even if I don't look forward to going to work, I look forward to either tea or lunch break everyday to catch up with them. I guess being a girl, you'll always need at least 1 very close girlfriend. It's never the same even if you have a very close guy friend.

SH & CS were the 1s to drag me to go shopping, Jus gave advice on how to DIY nail paintings, hair curling & hair care. SH & Jus gave tips on make up. CS gave encouragement on savings & self enrichment books. SH & I went on slimming diet with her starting 1st. Jus started wearing corset & I predict the beginning of a corset trend very soon. Coz she's like super slim lor! She's at least 1.65 m & 48 kg & she's wearing corset??? It makes me wanna take my corset out to wear. Even SH is asking about it like where to get it & how to wear it.

So if you've noticed any changes in me, it's their influence. LoL. I now use hair mask every 3 days, conditioner every day where previously, I only shampoo my hair. I went to dye my hair & probably will keep at it. I learnt how to curl my hair. I do my own toe nails every 2 weeks. I use body scrubs every now & then. After shower, I'll spray myself with body moisturizing spray. I'm still trying to learn how to apply eye make up. Girls do all these to make themselves desirable. I guess it does work for me coz I feel better about myself. But guys will be guys & Jeff still maintains the stand that he loves me no matter what & even if I'm not doing all these. But he did like my curled hair which he says makes me look more feminine & that I smell great. Unfortunately, the boys don't seem to like the fragrance as much. Haha. You just can't please all.

Our interests & styles are so different yet we click becoz fate had thrown us together. Jus is on the feminine dressy dresses style. SH is on baby doll dresses style. CS prefers casual on normal days & dress only on special occasions/events. I'm super casual. But I guess if you look at my going out clothes, you'll know that I love ribbons & low cuts. (So much so that I can't be bothered if my bra is showing but I cover up for everybody's sake. Haha!) Jus is interested in fashion/style/make up. SH is more on make up & shopping. CS is on religion & self enrichment books. Me, I'm sure you know the answer. It'll always be dogs for me.

Our crossed paths led us together. I can't say when our paths will uncross once again. We'll just enjoy one another's company & friendship for now. CNY is just round the corner & I'm in no mood to tidy up the house. I'm on call on Friday this week. Hope I don't have to stay back so late. Till I blog again! Good night!
