Way To Go, Puggy!
Yesterday, my parents finally had enough of Puggy pushing the playpen (with him inside) all over the place & stepping all over the biz tray regardless of whether there's poo or pee on it that they dismantled the playpen & let him run around the house. They left the biz tray at the same spot with Ton Ton's just a metre away. If you've come to my house before you'll know that the trays are just outside of the common bathroom/toilet. So we have a biz tray on either side of the bathroom/toilet door. The entire household's toilet area at the same location. *LOL to myself*
I wouldn't say he gets it right all the time. But he does get it right 80% of the time. He made 3 mistakes yesterday. Once on the floor, once on the sofa & once on the sofa bed in the TV room. I don't know if it's becoz he doesn't know how to get down. Anyway, all sofas & beds are off limits to him for the time being.
I hope that he doesn't start to smell bad so quickly since he no longer lies down on the biz tray. We gave him Ton Ton's old blue bedding from Mini Toons. He can be found lying on it (in the living room) most of the time now. Even Wang Wang will go lie on it when Puggy's away. Good, good! I'm happy with his progress.
The other thing is, he's now coming to 5 mths old, with his birthday on the 29th March. But he's only 3.5 kg & still quite small sized, not that I'm complaining lah. When Ton Ton was 3+ mths old, he was already 3.4 kg & at 6 mths old, he was 5.8 kg. At his adult size, he ranges from 6.6 kg (recently after some dieting) to 7.2 kg (few mths back). So I wonder how big Puggy will grow up to be.
He doesn't shed as much as when I 1st got him. The rubber "brush" that I use to run through his coat when bathing him used to have a thick layer of fur each time after his shower. It's now significantly lesser, just a thin layer over 1 tenth of the brush. His coat is thicker now & he's grown a bit more handsome. :P
