Upz!
Ok, now for some updates. When Wang Wang 1st came, he was 4 kg. When he went for neutering, he was 3.6 kg. Now on BARF, I felt that he put on some weight coz can feel a bit more fats around the ribs. But when I weighed him, he's only 3.7 kg. How come he's not putting on weight leh? I'm feeding him 4% of his body weight (as at 4 kg) which is more than the 2% required for adult dogs. I wouldn't say he's very active coz for the past 1 week he's been at home resting from the surgery except for toilet walks.
I just got home from a 3 hours van interior cleaning. But I did wash the tire rims as well. Now it's so clean & nice. But as the rims have not been washed for months, I'm unable to totally remove all the black dirt & I actually scrubbed so hard that the silver paint came off in some areas. No choice lor. Somebody lazy what. Only want to drive but don't want to do all the work. If I don't do, the van gets neglected.
Told Jeff many many times that the tires should be pumped every week whenever he tops up the tank. But he never got around to doing it. On the way home after sending him to work today, I stopped by 1 of the petrol station along Bukit Timah. When I drove off, I could feel the tremendous change. I could feel that there was less drag & becoz of that, acceleration was much faster & the steering became much more easier. & this was at the minimum tire pressure at 240 kpa.
I should be bathing 1 dog today so I don't have to do 2 tomorrow. But I'm so shagged now... My stamina sux. & I still have the cheek to think about running a 10 km event. I'll probably collapse before I hit the 2 km mark. Been thinking about starting training for weeks now. But like many others, I've been procrastinating. There're always too many things to do, too little time & too tired to do it. I used to jog 3 rounds downstairs. Although I don't know the distance, I'll always take 30 mins. When I 1st started, I'll jog 2 round then slowly increase to 3. I'll start to sweat during the 1st round but as I jogged more & more, I'll only start to sweat during the 3rd round. I hate jogging but I love the good feeling after the run.
Serene says she takes 1.5 hrs to finish 10 km. I read on Ivy's blog that she takes 1 hr 10 mins. I wonder how long I'll take. I think at my stage now, 3 hrs are not enough for me! I wanna start jogging not so much for the weight loss but more for achieving a goal. For proving to myself that I can do it too. Nothing beats the sense of achievement & accomplishment.
