Today Is Our Photo Shoot Day

Just got home from a day long photo shoot. I'm super tired. Let's take a look at the events that preceded.

I took half day off yesterday to bring Ton Ton for his grooming & at the same time I went for express manicure. I got to work 15 mins late coz I lost my way driving to my work place. Then I got lost in Yishun trying to locate my groomer's place. I finally reached her place at 4 pm, 2 hours later than what I had initially planned. I picked up Ton Ton from her place after my manicure, made a wrong turn while driving back & finally got home at 8.30 pm. I ironed Ton Ton's clothes, packed my stuff & picked up Jeff from his work place. We finally reached home at 11 pm.

I set the alarm to go off at 7 am but I slept in till 7.30 am. Then I had to drag Jeff out of bed. We got to our bridal studio at 9 am, left Ton Ton & our stuff there & went for breakfast. When we got back from breakfast, it was time for me to start on my make up. It started raining & we were worried that we wouldn't be able to do our outdoor shoot. We wore our uniform for our casual wear shoot & dressed Ton Ton in his red hawaiian shirt that I got for him when he was 6 mths old. It's a wonder that he still can wear it.

We changed into the traditional outfit for our 2nd style. Ton Ton wore his yellow kimono as I felt it looked like emperor's clothing since emperors were the only 1s who could wear yellow in historic China. 3rd outfit was the evening gown & Ton Ton didn't take the pictures with us. 4th was the indoor gown & Ton Ton wore the tuxedo on loan to us by Robert & Enrica. It was all very fast. Make up, hairdo, go up for photo taking & repeat the process again. Jeff's friend came to bring Ton Ton back to my house while we got ready for our outdoor shoot. Luckily, it stopped raining & a weak sun was begining to shine.

Jeff went out to buy lunch while I changed & get a new hairstyle. My makeup artist asked me to guess what Jeff would buy for lunch. Without hesitation, I told her that he'll get the roasted duck rice from the coffee shop behind, plus minus char siew. (Coz he loves the roasted duck rice there.) & of course, I got it right.

We headed out to Mount Faber, followed by Sentosa. Guess where we ended up? Tanjong Beach! We were the only couple who had 2 photographers. Sentosa really is a hot spot for wedding photo taking coz we saw at least 10 couples. But we were the only 1s at Mount Faber & it felt really weird to have everyone looking. A tourist even asked to take a picture of us.

By the time we got to Sentosa, I was hot & sweaty. I still had to give a big smile for every photo taken even though I felt I could no longer smile. We finally ended our day with our last pose lying in the sand on the beach. We got back to the bridal studio at 8.30 pm & we went for dinner at Lot 1. Got home at 10+ pm.

I cleaned off as much of the make up as I could with facial cleansing wipes. Then I headed for the bathroom. I reached for the conditioner only to find the bottle empty. I was told to wash my hair once with conditioner followed by shampoo as it was too stiff. So I turned the water heater to max instead & wash off with shampoo twice. Then I washed my face twice as well. Finally I could plop in front of the computer to type this while my hair dries.

I'm looking forward to see the pictures. They said they would give us a call when the photos are ready for selection & that it'll take 7 to 10 days. I'm super shagged so I'm logging off now.
