I Met Someone Today...

Work was as usual, if not for the huge crowd due to the school holidays. It was down to the 2nd last patient. As per routine, I called the queue number from the room, followed by physically going outside to call the name. The person who approached was my secondary school friend & behind her, was her daughter.

I've seen her once a few months ago but as I was busy assisting in another room, I didn't approach her. But this time, I was assisting the doctor her daughter was seeing. I managed to get her mobile from her.

It stirred up lots of memories & emotions in me. After all, we were very very close in secondary school. Somehow, we lost contact after I graduated. It's been 7 years... I wonder where this path will take us if I choose to renew this friendship. I'm in a dilemma whether to contact her. I've no idea why the hesitation in me. Perhaps it's becoz it's been so many years. I guess it takes courage to even send a sms to a long lost friend.
