Visit To The Vet's

16th May

I started noticing that Ton Ton was "blowing his nose" & sneezing more frequently than usual. He would blow his nose continuously for 2 to 3 times followed by a sneeze. This cycle happened every few minutes. It sounded just like the good old days of vinegar spraying to prevent him from peeing in the wrong places.

18th May

We brought him down to the vet's. She took his temperature after listening to the history. Becoz he had not poop for the day, he shat a large amount on the examination table immediately after she removed the thermometer. Well, he really stunk up the whole room. :X

She suspected of foreign body in his nasal cavity but she couldn't see anything on the outer nasal passage. She explained that if a foreign body were to be stuck deeper in his nose, there would be purulent or even bloody discharges. So she thinks it may be due to some kind of air borne allergents.

We were to give him 1/2 tab piriton twice a day as necessary. I gave him a total of 2 doses & he stopped sneezing. So total recovery! Yeah! Btw, he now weighs 7.1 kg, 500 g up from his visit in April for his vaccination. MG! Thanks to my mom who kept feeding him whenever he asks for it. I kept all his treats the moment I got home & combined efforts with Jeff to tell her that she is NOT allowed to feed him any other than his dinner. I hope it works.
