What's Up?
Ton Ton has been diarrhea-free since Wed. So we didn't bring him to the vet. However, he has not pooed since his last episode of loose, watery stool on Tuesday evening. But then he's been on porridge for the past few days so he should be pooing when I start him back on his normal diet this evening.
Meant to blog this earlier but... :P Last Sunday, Jeff & I paid a visit to Pasir Ris Farmway. There're countless dog farms & some of the conditions are atrocious. Bad smell, cramp & dirty cages were a common sight. The more decent 1 was Ericsson but that was only the store front. Most of the compound was out of bounds & maybe that's where they keep the dogs for breeding/boarding. We can hear the dogs barking the moment we opened the van door. I've heard so many stories about the farms. Honestly, it's not as bad as they've described them to be. But without doubt, they're bad enough.
We met up with Robert & Enrica at Vivo after that. Jeff saw his long wanted pug in Pet Safari & coincidently, it's a female. I told him that 6 mths is quite old & 1.5k is not acceptable for a puppy so old. I'm still undecided on a new puppy. I know Jeff wants a pug & has been wishing for 1 for quite some time. Actually he wanted a pug whereas I wanted a MS. Well, I got what I wanted mainly becoz he gave in to my wishes.
Even if money ain't a problem, many other factors are. I also have the worry of the pug being overly active. Ton Ton must be the laziest Schnauzer I've ever seen. Maybe he takes after us. :P So will our future pug take after us & be as laid back as Ton Ton? No more worrying for me. Let fate take its natural course. We saw a total of 3 pugs but neither of us feel anything.
Anyway, we headed over to Sim Lin after lunch with Robert & Enrica with plans to meet at their place for dinner. We bought a DS Lite & some other items. :X We went home to get Ton Ton before heading over for dinner. Looks like Bobby isn't the only 1 scared of Bourbon. Ton Ton will back away, walking backwards when Bourbon comes close. Eh, why's that? Too fragile to play with?
