'Tis The Rainy Season

It's been raining everyday since last Monday. I still remember the term my primary school teacher used for such weathers in Nov/Dec/Jan: Monsoon Season. Over the years, I've noticed a gradual delay of the onset of the monsoon season. It used to start in mid Nov when I was very young. It then started in early Dec when I was in secondary school, followed by the mid to late Dec in the present. To me, it's always a relief from the stifling heat of the 'summer'. So although I can understand why people hates the rainy weather, I've always been able to enjoy it.

I was looking back at my previous blog entries & realised that the last time I was sick was in Sept. That was the 1st time I fell sick since starting work here in Feb. Now, barely 3 mths later, I'm down with flu & cough again. It was worse over the weekend, with terrible body aches. I self medicated & slept most of the time. So yes, I spent Christmas in bed mostly, zonked out from the effects of the medicine.

I have no choice but to take the cough syrup due to my hacking cough but it makes me drowsy & fuzzy brained all the time. Everytime I coughed, Ton Ton will come & investigate, smell smell, see see & sniff sniff. LOL.

Speaking of Ton Ton, he has become more vocal (barkish) & more active ever since he was neutered. I also saw a big increase in his appetite. I hope he doesn't gain even more weight! So is there some truth to the saying that they'll become the opposite of what they were previously?

I replied to an ad placed in Jobsdb & received a reply today. They want me to go down sometime this week. As I'm working everyday till Friday & in view of my cough & flu, I made the appointment to meet up on Sat. I feel my fuzzy brain taking over again. Gotta go for now...
