Bad Timing To Be Sick

I've been sick over the weekend with cough & flu. It gave me fever for Sat & Sun & I still had fever of 37.9 degrees this morning. The worst of all was the body aches. I would take panadol at 2 pm, the drug would take effect at 3 pm & would wear off at 4 pm. Then I had to tahan for another 2 more hours before taking the next dose. I hate taking panadol. So you can imagine how bad the body aches were that I had to take it for 2 days straight.

I couldn't lie down, I couldn't sit up. It hurt like mad no matter which position I laid in. The only way was to go to sleep. Even then, the time passed very slowly. I felt like I'd slept for many hours when it was only 2 hours. Then Ton Ton would jump up onto the bed to sleep beside me. Oh yah, he's becoming quite proficient at it.

I went to work today despite having fever. But I think the fever comes & goes. Sometimes I felt ok & I would feel feverish at a later time. I haven't had a fever since Sec 3's CNY. Usually, no matter how sick I get, I don't get a fever at all. So I guess my infection must be quite severe this time.
