Wedding Of De Year
Slept at almost 2 am last night coz I just can't seem to kick the habit of last min preparation. :P Set the alarm for 5 am & finally stopped lazing in bed at 5.45 am to get ready. Waited for Jeff to get back home from night shift & off we went at 6.15 am. I reached Enrica's sis's place at 6.30 am & Jeff left to go Robert's parents' place.
The men team finally arrived at 8.45 am & Robert had to burst balloons blown up by the brothers by humping on their butt (balloons were attached to their butts). They were allowed into the living room & Robert had to peel & take bites from bananas tied around the brothers' waist. They cheated by storming through, aggressively pushing us to the bedroom door where Enrica was. Then, Robert had to identify the lipstick mark as Enrica's. We were kept busy until Enrica's sis came to inform us that 1 of the brothers was climbing in through the toilet window. Cheaters! He got into the toilet & into the bedroom & unlocked the door from inside, allowing the men to enter.
We left for Robert's parents' place next then to T3 for photo taking due to wet weather. Original plan was to have the photo shoot at Seletar Airbase. Next, Jeff & I went to get Bourbon from Robert's parents' place before joining the rest at their love nest where we had Popeye's & Canadian Pizza. We finally left for Fort Canning at about 4 pm. Solemnization was scheduled for 5.30 pm but I didn't have a watch nor HP with me so I'm not too sure about the timing.
I kept waiting for Jeff to join me at the table coz I was carrying the ang bao box & couldn't walk around to get food. I was sitting next to Dr Grace Heng, our vet. Jeff finally came back & got food for me & made small chats with Dr Heng like what's the most exotic animal she had treated before. Cut the story short, we all ended up at 4 Seasons Hotel with the couple & finally left them to be alone at 10+ pm. :P
Here's what I wanna tell the couple. I'm not good with words & neither am I proactive in actions. But from the bottom of my heart, I wish you guys a blissful marriage ahead. Tolerance, being understanding & appreciative is the key to a smooth ride. Enrica, I feel very honoured to be 1 of the sisters. Never been 1 before so thanks for giving me the chance to be 1 at least once in my life. Robert, stop apologising! That's what friends are for! I left the dried treats in your fridge. Please remember to feed them to your poochies. I spent the whole of yesterday (Sunday) making it so don't let it go to waste. Catch up with you soon!
P.S.: Send me the photos when they're ready!
