Getting Ready To Fail

Puggy still can't do his recall well off leash. So I'm preparing myself for failing the exam. Today's the last training day I set for him before the exam on Sun. So if he can't do it now, he definitely won't be able to do it on Sun.

I've come to terms with it already. Hehe. L & Jeff has a point. Puggy's a toy breed. He's not meant to excel in obedience. He's supposed to be a lap dog which he fails miserably at anyway coz he's just too active to laze around. The reason I enroll him in obedience training is so he's more managable & he has already achieved it. Passing the exam is only a plus & it looks good lah.

I thought of training Ton Ton on my own. The only thing stopping me is the thought of cleaning him up after every training. He's white & can't take to being dragged on dirty carpark or parade square ground. He'll come home all black & I'll have a difficult time cleaning him up.

I think Ton Ton will learn slower but retain better coz he takes well to routine. Puggy is more intelligent but he gets bored easily with routine work. That's the difference between a silly dog & a clever dog bah. But I've no plans to train Ton Ton anytime soon. :P I'm just too tired & it shows. My colleague was asking me why I look so tired lately.

I have a full day of lecture tomorrow. I better get going to plan what to wear & sleep early or fall asleep in the auditorium. :X
