Crazy Taxi Driver

Was driving to obedience class today when I almost met with an accident. I was on BKE, turning into SLE. The road splits into 2, with left lane going to Kranji & right lane to SLE. On that slip road to SLE, there're 2 lanes & a bend in the road. So you got to sort of do a U shape before entering SLE.

I was rounding the bend so I couldn't see anything ahead of me. I was on the left lane & there was another car on the right lane. The moment the road straightens, what I saw nearly gave me a heart attack. This City Cab stopped horizontally across the 2 lanes! Immediately, I slammed on my brakes to avoid collision. Wah, I tell you... all my 3 years of driving, never once I had to do E brake. I felt my tires locked & gave a screeching sound. I had to release & brake again or I'll have skidded. When I looked into my right side mirror, my tires were smoking lor! The car on the right lane managed to stop in time also. Another car behind me was quite far away so he managed to stop also. Otherwise, it'll be a chain crash man!

The City Cab made a 3 point turn & continued driving & exited at the 1st exit ahead. I think he probably made a wrong turn & wanted to exit Kranji. But when he realised his mistake, tried to drive in the opposite direction back up to the split. There's no other explanation I can find for finding him horizontal on the road. He was the only car on that road & there're no tire marks so he probably didn't skid or had an accident. Crazy idiot! He also had a passenger with him lor. If either of us crashed into him, his passenger is dead meat coz he's sitting on the back left, directly in our crash line. What's so difficult? Just take the next exit lah! At most just compensate the passenger by taking a few dollars off the meter lah! How stupid can you get? On the expressway somemore!

He's also lucky that it's a bend & our speed is around 60 km/hr. Should we be driving anything faster than that, he & his passenger will be dead or seriously injured. So angry ok? Jeff asked me if I horned him. The 1st thought on my mind is to stop the van where got time to horn? I think the other driver also in shock coz he also didn't horn even after coming to a stop completely. Crazy people! Don't know how to drive don't drive lah! Trying to kill us ah?
