New Training Ground!

There's a parade square just 2 blocks away from our block. But I've never gone there to train Puggy coz we were told to go to a quiet place with few distractions. I went with Puggy today just to see how it's like & we ended up training there.

I like this new training ground coz it's very big, it's well lit, by the road side with lots of vehicles driving by every few seconds & surrounded by blocks. It's definitely much safer than the MSC. Today, there's people playing badminton & a group training their chinese dance. But there're many distractions from the vehicles & people are always cutting across the parade square.

Puggy did alright despite the many distractions. I'm not very happy with his auto sit coz he still sits a step in front of me & it's already lesson 8 this week. When I trained him on Mon, he wasn't able to heel on command after being recalled back & I need to use the correction on him. So I was really surprised that he did it today. But he kept doing it without waiting for me to give the command. & I kept having to correct him. Grr... He still can't stand on command but doing better.

So I think I'll stick to this new training ground. The only thing I worry is training off leash coz I'm scared he'll dash off to chase kids which he did today again. Anyway, we're not completely off leash yet but I have a feeling we'll be starting to this week. Woo... I better go sleep. It's already 12+ am.
