Why Am I Still So Shagged?

As above. I no longer rush home to train Puggy after work, though I still do OT from time to time as required. Maybe it's the long day I had yesterday. I worked from 8 am to 12 pm. Jeff came to fetch me & we went to the Courts & Ikea at Tampines. Ok, Enrica, I finally remember what I ate yesterday. (You were asking me just now right?) I shared Poached Salmon, Nasi Briyani & 2 Chicken Wings with Jeff.

I finally found the hair curler I was looking for at Courts & Ikea was having sales so we got a metal push cart at $68 & it was $125 previously. We've been wanting to get it for a long time. But we missed the previous round in April I think, where it was selling for $69. Our dinning table is pretty cluttered so that addition will enable us to put raw food on the shelves while we have steamboat. When not eating, it'll retreat to the kitchen beside the fridge for storing newspapers.

On the way back, we stopped by Autobac & got a paw print anti slip mat. It's actually bear paw but can't tell the diff lah. Then, we drove to the Shell next door for car wash. Jeff drove off to play LAN game with his friends. I lazed around, playing games on Facebook. I was curling my hair to get ready for Orchard when the call came in.

Super sian. I mean, the call back rate for weekends is pretty low. You must be very suay to kena. There I was, my hair half curled, eyes black (coz I was practising drawing eyeliner & couldn't clean off nicely) & have to take public transport. The case was to start at 9 pm but we gotta reach at 8 pm to get ready the theatre & instruments. We finished at 11+ pm & we had to wash the instruments, mop the theatre floor & clean the surfaces becoz it's a "dirty" case. Then, we got to "recover" the patient by taking 2 BP readings 5 mins apart & arrange for ambulance to bring over to the ward. I was so shagged. Hmm... at least I earned 3 hrs of OT. I get $20 for holding the on call HP & I get paid 1.5 times my basic salary which changes every mth depending on how many days that mth has. It's about $13 per hr for a 20 work days mth. So 1.5 is about $20 x 3 hrs = $60. How pathetic!

Woke up at 5.50 am this morning. Had to send Jeff to work coz I need the van. Drove back home, rested a while before I picked Puggy up. Don't know if it was becoz I was too tired, I keyed Pasir Ris Drive 2 as my destination. I kept wondering why the GPS was taking me through such a weird route. When I reached PR Drive 2, it suddenly hit me that PM is at PR Farmway 2! Wah piang! I shouldn't even use the GPS coz I know the way but sometimes I daydream while driving & I tend to miss the exit to SLE & it's a backup just in case I really do get lost.

On my way back, I felt like I was in a daze. My mind's not very focused on the road. I felt like I was in a dreamlike state. I'm just glad I made it back. I have to bathe the dogs but I don't feel up to it. I feel so tired, so lack of energy. Guess I'll just go nap for a while.

I got to go for buffet at Straits Cafe, Rendezvous at 6.30 pm. Sian lor... Totally throw off my diet. But Jeff's grandfather kept pestering for everybody to go. I don't feel comfortable with my FIL's siblings (Jeff's paternal aunts/uncles) at all. They're quite well off & I feel like I'm being constantly judged on the way I dress, the way I carry myself. You know, the way rich people make you feel. 1 of them once commented to my MIL that I'm not friendly. Wah lao, that's my character leh. I don't talk 1 what. Besides, they keep talking about rich people activities which I know nothing of. But they get along really well with my BIL's wife coz she's from a rich family too. Talk about golf, sorry, I don't play. Talk about university, sorry, I have no intention of taking degree. Talk about high end cars, sorry, I know nothing about it. I only know dog stuff & you're not interested. You tell me dogs are dirty & smelly & you can't stand them. Guess what? I love them & they love me no matter who's smelly or dirty. I really dread the coming CNY. Yet another round of mingling with them.
