Foodies I Made
Sometime last week, I prepared supper for Jeff. He was in for a surprise when he came home from his afternoon shift. I made herbal soup, ham & cheese french toast & honey rosemary pork shabu shabu with cheesy hotdog.

A smiley face made from ketchup to cheer up a tired Jeff.Today, I tried making Dango with the powder I bought from Daiso. It's quite a flop to me coz I just couldn't make it as chewy as the ones I ate at Taka for $2 per stick. I guess that's the problem. $2 for 3 balls of Dango vs $2 for an entire packet of Dango powder. I rolled the dough into balls & dumped them into the boiling water to cook. When they were done, I coated the balls with soybean powder in a broad base plate. Finally, I got fed up & dumped the entire dough into the water to cook. When I fished out the big lump of dough & dumped it onto the soybean powder, it reminded me of Mua Chi. LOL. So I broke it up into small pieces, Mua Chi style.
I gave some to Ton Ton 1st who absolutely loved it. He jumped around for more but I gave the remainder to Wang Wang who ate only a few pieces. I topped up a few more pieces & gave it all to Puggy who ate it all up. This is where it got really funny. I kept a plate of the Dango for Jeff when he comes home later on the dining table.
