Our House, Our Home

After what seems to be an endless buying spree, we finally got every furniture we wanted. I hope. Fixing up the furnitures ourselves gave me a huge sense of accomplishment. Becoz we're replacing so many pieces just to complete the theme, it seems very wasteful to throw away the usable ones. Through Jeff's creativity, he came up with some ways to put some into use.

Jeff suggested getting a low table to replace our gray desk that acts as our computer table. This enabled us to make use of the sofa bed we brought back after changing the seats from the van. We've taken the old desk apart & it's now in the storeroom. Jeff absolutely adores the daybed & hence it's up in the study room where our big sofa bed used to be. The sofa bed is now in the living room & we plan to get a brown bedsheet to cover it so it sort of blends in with our sofa.

There's just 1 more thing that I can think of that's lacking. The wooden clothes pole/hook or whatever you call it that he wants badly. Anyway, we haven't found 1 in the correct colour. I'm looking forward to getting Wii. It won't be anytime soon, perhaps at the end of the year after the bonus.
