Incentives

I haven't started leh... it's simply too difficult to fight the temptation of food. I came up with a new trick & I want to rope Jeff in on it. I want to have several small goals & a reward when I meet them. I was contemplating whether to include punishment for gaining weight. Sort of like dog training. Do something wrong, you choke. Do something right, you praise. It works better than just using praises alone. I haven't decided.

I listed a few things I want that isn't food related. They are:

1. Twilight DVD Code 1
2. A classy bag for myself with a budget of $300
3. Wardrobe revamp (This will have to be at the last goal.)
4. Permanent hair removal for: Underarms & Legs (No more ingrown hair! Yeah! But this is very ex, especially for the legs.)

So I was thinking of something along the lines of, 3 kg weight loss I get the DVD. 5 kg weight loss I get the bag. 8 kg lost I get permanent hair removal for my underarms & so on. I asked Jeff to write a list of things that he wants too. He plays a very very important role if I want to succeed. Becoz, I'm always tempted by him. So... I will buy for him the things he want. This will spur him to work with me, not against me.

What then, will be uncomfortable enough for me to be a deterrent? Maybe along the food line. Like eat a huge serving of bitter gourd for dinner everyday for a week or eat a whole carrot raw for dinner everyday for a week. (Too much & I'll turn orange. Major turn off! Besides, I really hate carrots.)

So how much do I need to lose? I will stop at 50 kg. I don't dare to step on the weighing scale. I know I definitely put on weight. I'm too paiseh to write here too. :(

P/S: Lyn, wanna try this method too?
