MIL's House: Day 2

Woke up at 6 am to prepare to go to work. As I was pouring soya milk at the kitchen counter, something caught my eye. Inside every toaster oven, there's a metal baking tray right? What I saw was the baking tray lined with aluminum foil. Used, oily & crusted aluminum foil.

Another thing was my MIL must have washed clothes on Sat morning before they flew off & put the remaining dirty clothes in the washing machine. When I came over yesterday (Sun) evening, the clothes were still on the bamboo pole up there in the kitchen & the dirty clothes still in the washing machine, unwashed. Moreover, they cooked! The clothes hanging up there sure stinks lor.

They also drank some sweet stuff & must have left the cups lying around for a long time. The cups were full of ants & there were dried pink patches at the bottom of the cups. I get so "pek chek" when I see the ants crawling all over the place. I can't imagine the expression on my MIL's face when she comes back had I not come over.

Anyway, I managed to claim 2 hours today. I'm also granted tomorrow's leave. Yeah!!! I already cleaned the floor. So just waiting for Jeff to come home to shower so I can start the washing machine. Going to slice apples to dehydrate later. Then probably will do some ironing. Will end the day by playing FB & reading the novels I just borrowed from the library.
