Getting There
Before I go into my main entry, I'll like to add in some of the dreams I had. In my dream, I was invited to a Dr's house warming. Surprisingly, he moved into a HDB flat although in real life, I know him to be quite rich coz he runs his own private clinic, comes as a visiting consultant at my work place & he confessed doing some business as well. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't locate his flat. I just couldn't find the unit. I kept walking & walking.
In my other dream, I dreamt that I had just alighted the plane in Bangkok. I went there with my mom. The weather was very cold & we both had to put on jackets. The moment we came out from the tunnel (I don't know what you call that but it connects the airport bay to the plane), we were in this huge shopping mall with extremely high ceiling. We were kinda lost. Again, we kept walking & walking, trying to find our way around.
These 2 dreams both revolve around the same theme. Although I know my destination, somehow I just couldn't get there. Both times I was lost & kept trying to find my way. Is my sub-conscious mind telling me that at this moment, I know exactly what I want in life but I can't find the means & way to get there? Thinking about it, I think it's really true. But so what if I know? I need to find a solution too.
Praises for Puggy! For the past 1 week since I came home after staying at my in law's for almost a mth, I've been noticing that Puggy is getting his toileting correct more & more. I really feel that he's almost there from 2 incidents, 1 yesterday night & 1 this morning.
Knowing that he has to use the pee tray for the entire night (coz nobody's gonna change the newspaper for him once we sleep), he aimed his pee at 1 half of the tray. Jeff saw that half the tray was wet but he didn't bother changing it for him. Later on in the night, Jeff went to the toilet. He heard sounds of feet plattering on the pee tray. What he saw was Puggy aiming his pee at the other half of the tray.
Before my dad leaves for work each morning, he'll clear Puggy's pee tray if it's wet & lay another newspaper beside the tray for just in case. When Jeff woke up this morning to go to work, he saw Puggy peeing in the tray. He didn't personally see the next part of it. But when he went into the kitchen next, he saw that Puggy had poop on the extra newspaper just beside the tray.
I'm so happy! Our hard work has finally paid off. Puggy's almost 7 mths old now & has been with us for almost 5 mths. The initial mths were full of frustration as many of you know. There were times when I really felt that Puggy is hopeless. He took more than twice as long as Ton Ton to be trained (Ton Ton took 2 mths to get it 100% right). But still, I'm proud of him. 3 cheers for Puggy!
