A New Addition To The Family Soon!

I'm so excited! We're gonna have a new addition to the family! Actually 2, if you count Jeff in. But for him it won't be so soon. We're set for 10th July as our ROM date. It's also the day we started dating 2.5 yrs ago. This yr will be the 3rd yr & in the future will be our wedding anniversary. Debated & discussed, quarrelled & compromised, he's moving in with me after our traditional which for now is set to be next yr. It's his parents' idea. They say we can compensate for the travelling inconvenience by getting a car.

End of next month, I'll be bringing home my 1st baby. We've chosen the name Ton-Ton. It's our fav. animal in the anime, Naruto. If you eat Japanese food, you'll probably be familiar with tonkatsu. Which is breaded pork. So Ton-Ton is Pork-Pork or if you like, Pig-Pig. & yes, Ton-Ton is a female pig who wears pearl necklace in the anime. We wanted to adopt but nobody is willing to coz we're 1st timers. So my very 1st furkid will be a mini schnauzer. A forum friend's dog gave birth to a litter & I'm getting 1 from her. At a fee of course. I've chosen a male salt & pepper pup & he's 9 days old as of now.

I've read so many dog care books in preparation for adopting over the weeks. But once I agreed to get the puppy from her, I've began to concentrate my reading on puppy care as well. I'm going to dog proof my house soon. & I'll start by removing all unwanted junks. Besides, me & Jeff are going to revamp my study room into an entertainment room. So instead of sitting in the living room, guests can relax in the entertainment room. Hopefully we get it done before the next family gathering (eg CNY, my grandma's death anniversary). Since our main TV is spoilt, we'll get a huge TV with sound system. & we'll probably get new air con as well. Since we no longer have to fork out $$ for a new flat, the $$ will go into improving the current 1.

My blog is titled "A Search For Me". Is this the life I want? I think so. But I also know problems are always bubbling under the surface. I hope that no matter what comes, we'll be able to solve everything together. Staying together & loving together. As a family. I guess that's the life we all should be striving for.
