I Refused To Give Up!
How do you describe how it feels like to fill your stomach with food? I'm not the skinny kind and you probably think I'm such a glutton for saying this. Money is tight with less than $800 to my name and without a job, we can very well starve. My dad squandered most of the money away and being out of job for more than a year depleted almost every cent we had. It doesn't help that he's got another woman outside and gives her money on a regular basis.
All but 1 jewellery has been pawned, bringing debts close to $2K. To save money, my mom has been eating instant noodles and sometimes just bread for meals. Even I dare not buy provisions until money starts coming in. I ate an apple from the altar but it only left me hungrier. So I ate the 3 remaining peices of oyster mushroom in the fridge. When I got hungry again, I went to sleep.
I went over to Jeff's place when he knocked off just so I can have a proper meal. When I saw him wolfing down his mom's dishes, I felt guilty. If not for me, we wouldn't be in such a miserable state. To help me conserve money, he brought bread to work. Obviouslt it isn't enough for him. This secret has to stay between the 2 of us. Nobody in the family can know about this. I'm not afraid to say this here for I know only 1 person who reads this.
I will earn back the $7K I paid back. I will do whatever it takes to reach my goal. No, my goal is not $7K. But rather, whatever it takes to give my family a comfortable and debt free life.

I'd suggest that you look for part-time jobs first while u are keeping a lookout for a full-time job? Don't starve yourself, if you need to eat, u have to eat. Let me know if you need help. Not that I can help very much, but I'll try.
