Our Turning Point
Today, I received a bad news. In times like these, we have no choice but to stand strong. For there is no other way out.
If a marriage (or a love relationship) is a house, I imagine it to be a small cosy cottage by the lake. Then 1 person is surely the structure while the other is the heart of the cottage. Their love will be the cement that holds the cottage together. The structure protects the heart from external elements. If the structure collapses inwards, the heart has to hold & support it. Yet, they have to be flexible to switch roles when necessary. When the structure takes damage externally, the heart has to envelop the structure & make repairs.
It really is a wake up call. It reminds us once again that life can be so short. I hope that from here on, we'll forever remember this turning point. Life is too short for petty fights. Let us beging to truly treasure everyone around us.
