1 More Incident

It was Wednesday. I received a call from a teacher, wanting a 1st aid kit, collecting the next day. I told my supervisor just to keep her informed. I put the kit together after school. The cleaner even helped me a bit. She left at 4 pm, my supervisor 4.30 pm. When my supervisor left, I was still working with the kit. I passed over to the night nurse in writing & verbally, asking my SRN colleague to check with the Dr which motion sickness drugs to put in before printing out the 1st aid form.

Thursday night. I received a call from my SRN colleague. There was some mis-communication & they all thought I didn't prepare the kit. She apologised for the whole thing coz she admitted that she made the comment, "Aiya, why Sihui didn't prepare the 1st aid kit?". So she & our assistant nurse put together another kit. They only found out when she tried to print the 1st aid form & found my copy saved in the computer. That was when they flipped the communication book & saw my written report.

On my way out of the school compound today, I met up with my SRN colleague who was coming in to provide 1st aid for a sports event. Again she apologised for the mix up. She asked me if I checked the clinic email & whether my supervisor send me any nasty emails. Unfortunately, I forgot to do it last night. I'll do so tonight. Even if she had sent it, she could have deleted it after finding out that the fault doesn't lie with me. Unless she cleared the trash folder, it'll still be accessible & she's not exactly IT savy, being unable to upload attachment to emails, not knowing how to use MS Word other than the normal typing etc.

The cleaner wasn't really at fault coz she wouldn't know what I was doing with the 1st aid kit, although when they accused me of not preparing it, she could have spoken up, saying that she saw me preparing 1 the day before. But my supervisor knew a 1st aid kit needed to be prepared & when she left, I was still in the midst of preparing it. I wouldn't go fiddle with a 1st aid kit for nothing right? Too eager to push the blame perhaps? I honestly forgot about the whole incident. But perhaps becoz of that, I'm a much happier person. Anger & hatred are 2 all consuming emotions. Better never to get sucked in. I guess I've taken 1 too many last straws so I'm leaving without a job in hand. Anyway, I'm not feeling too good. Gotta go.
