Trouble So Soon?

My dad lost his job. Again. This time it was becoz his boss had to close down the canteen due to lack of profit. Why is it that when things finally start to look up, it all comes crashing down? Although I've nothing good to say about my supervisor, at least I'm earning 1k more than when I was in the govt hospital. I'm finally having the means to give everyone a slightly more comfortable life.

He was jobless for a year, sapping up whatever little savings they have. My mom has gone about pawning every single piece of jewellery she has. He just started at this job after CNY. Why is this happening to us again? They have 9 more years of loan payment on this flat. Becoz of lack of funds in his CPF account, we have to pay cash every month. We're so screwed!

What if the lump turns out to be cancerous? I don't even dare to think. My mom has had a tough life. With my dad squandering all the money on that stupid woman, making all of us eat bread & instant noodles everyday. Doesn't she deserve a better life now that she's 57? Whoever's up there! Do you even have a heart?
