A Tribute To An Ex Crush
I was using Facebook when I thought of searching for past classmates. My search was futile for all except 1. I had a major crush on this guy in Secondary School. Jon probably knows about him coz it wasn't any secret among my friends. He was 1 year ahead of me & I 1st met him in Sec 1 when he was in Sec 2.
He was already a prefect & an impartial 1 he is. (Yeah, Jon definitely knows who I'm talking about now.) I was kinda sad when I moved to Sec 2 coz he went to Sec 3 which was the opposite session. I applauded & cheered the loudest for him during prize giving day (he always gets top in class or in year) while everyone else booed him. He was really unpopular with many coz he wouldn't hesitate to confiscate sweets or tell you off when you talk during assembly, unlike all other prefects who chose to close 1 eye.
When I went to Sec 3, I could finally see him on a regular basis again. It was the beginning of the year & I wished that he would become the head prefect. He did. I really hoped that he would be the Valedictorian but to my great disappointment, he didn't. He had always been the top student & I just couldn't understand why. He got very good grades for his 'O' levels (all As) but I think he lost becoz of an A2.
I couldn't remember what it was that I attended but I was in the same group as him. We had to form a big circle, hold hands with the person directly opposite you, twist & turn till everyone's in a mess without letting go. Then, we were supposed to untangle back into a circle, again, without letting go. Guess whose hand I held? :P I was the happiest girl at that moment. Needless to say, he took charge & he really is very smart. We untangled 5 mins ahead of all other groups.
Anyway, becoz I'm not a friend of his on Facebook, I couldn't access his profile. But from what I could tell from the little information, it looked like he's working in an US company or he's working in US. GKK, good luck to you. You really did go far in life like I hoped you will. Hope that you'll find happiness & joy in whatever you do.
