Trip To JB On 12th July

It was our 4rd trip to JB together. The very 1st time, we went to City Sq to shop. 2nd time, we brought my mom along to City Sq. 3rd time, we went with a group of his friends & stayed the night at a motel. This time, we settled for Puteri Pan Pacific & it cost us $228 ringit for a night's stay. Considered cheap coz Sg's Pan Pacific is about this price but in Sing Dollar. 1st thing we did was to check in as we didn't make any reservation.

We went to 3 places in total on the 1st day itself. After dropping off our items in the hotel, we took a cab to Holiday Plaza for $6 ringit. We had KFC for lunch & I must say their KFC is much better than Sg's. I had this 'Meltz' which isn't available in Sg. It's sort of a taco with chicken, melted cheese, onion & lettuce in a tomato base. Next stop was Perlin Mall for $13 ringit where we shopped at Giant. Nothing much there. Finally, we took a cab back to the hotel for $15 ringit. We dropped off our purchases & walked over to City Sq. That was the end of day 1.

Next morning, we woke up at 8+ am to have the complimantary breakfast buffet. After that, we went back to the room & being the pigs we are, we slept again till it was time to check out. By then, we were carrying bulky items but still we walked a bit at City Sq before taking SBS 170 back home. At the Sg check point, we had to put our bags on that belt for x-ray while we walked through whatever-it-is-for 'gate?'. Jeff says it's a x-ray too but I always thought that it's a metal detector. Jeff was stopped & had his bag checked. It was a random thing & nothing to be worried about coz we didn't have any banned items with us anyway.

We got home within 1 hour from JB due to the fact that it was a weekday. It was really tiring. I hope to go Cameron Highland on my next trip. I'll like to go F&E for Bangkok & HK sometime in the near future followed by Taiwan for asian countries. Then someday I hope to visit Japan, Aust, NZ, Europe especially Greece. I guess I can continue with my daydreaming for a long time to come.
