What Happened After APC
The moment we got back to my house, I fell flat onto the bed with Ton Ton by my feet. By the time Jeff came to wake me up, it was almost 6 pm. We brought Ton Ton out for a walk.
This time, I brought him on the usual path we always take but then turned to walk towards the canal just before the factories. There were 3 flights of stairs. On the 1st flight, it was really difficult to get Ton Ton to go down. He refused to budge even with the treat waving in front of his nose. 2nd flight was slightly easier. By the 3rd flight, all I had to do was to give the leash a tug & he went down a few steps at a time.
He got comfortable walking by the canal & he started to walk ahead of me. So I started jogging beside him & he managed to keep up with my pace. It was amazing how he transformed into a dog who refused to even step out of the house to trotting alongside me in just days.
Thunder growled & dark clouds low, we hurried to reach home before it started raining. On the way back, we met this elderly lady with her Dachshund. I’ve always liked Dachshunds for their long body & short legs. I finally had a chance to meet 1 face to face! He’s so well behaved, demurely sniffing Ton Ton. Then further down, we came across a man with his Schnauzer & Chihuahua. The moment they caught sight of Ton Ton, they began to rush forward, pulling on the leash. After a few moments of sniffing, we walked the last 200m back to my block.
I showered Ton Ton & surprisingly, he was very much well behaved. He’ll usually run about & struggle. Maybe he was just too tired from the day’s activities. He walked about, whined a little but easily manageable. I put the grooming powder into use. Ton Ton looked so white compared to before! Then we went for dinner at Sakae Sushi in Lot 1 at 8.40 pm. Nearly couldn't make it coz there was a long queue & last order's at 9.30 pm. After dinner, we bought some durians & took a cab home.
I watched the last episode of my Armed Reaction VCD while eating durian. Ton Ton gets 1 seed (with flesh) & I gave him our seeds (without flesh) to lick clean. Then he slept by our feet while Jeff & I played Warcarft on the computers. It was 2 am when we finally went to bed. I let Ton Ton sleep with me in the room for the 1st time. I know he usually don’t sleep through the night. But he did. When I woke up at 6.45 am to prepare for work, he was still asleep despite the fact that my HP alarm went off so many times. But the moment my feet touched the floor, he woke up & looked at me with sleepy eyes. Then I let him out & he went to pee in the urine tray. He looked so sad when I closed up the playpen to go to work. Awww…
