OT Today

I was on afternoon today. So I'm supposed to go back at 9 pm. But alas, Dr T insisted that there's a case that's life threatening. I was the unlucky one chosen to stay behind coz we don't have enough staff. The pt was in at 9.25 pm. When we called the Drs, they're still at home. Dr T came in at 10.15 pm. By then, even the anesthetist was saying, "So much for priority 1." I finally got relieved at 11 pm by another staff.

Now I'm finally back home and all showered. I'm sitting in front of the fan to dry my hair. Well, my family ain't that well to do so splurging on a hairdryer seems too much to ask for. For the whole of 8 months, I'm the only 1 bringing home the dough. My dad bummed at home for slightly more than a yr. He just recently got himself a job. Which he quitted from and found another 1 and quitted... Never staying on for more than a month. He's in his current job for 3 weeks now. I'll see how long he can last in this job. Well, my mom is not well. She required surgery and therefore quitted her job mid last yr. She is planning to go back to work.

Yeah, I got 2 hrs OT so means more money right? As I've said, I' m really beginning to think I won't have the life to spend that extra money. Alright, better go to sleep. Got to wake up real early. I'm on morning tomorrow. I'll just sleep with my hair half dried.
