End of Weekend
Once again, we're on Sunday, going on to Monday. Sianz. Let's pen down another memory shall we?
We left for JB at about 9 am yesterday. But as it was raining, we decided to take the bus out to the interchange where it's closer to the 160 & 170 bus stop. By the time we reached City Sq, it was 10+ going to 11 am. We had brunch at 1 of the nearby coffee shop before heading over there. We ordered wanton mee & shared a plate of chee cheong fun.
We walked around a bit, bought some stuff & went to check what movies were screening. We bought tickets for Wall E at 4.20 pm for RM$10 (S$4.20) per person. Imagine this. We're paying $10.50 per ticket for a weekend movie here. No more watching of movies in Sg man! As it was only 12.30 pm at that time, we decided to get a massage 1st.
We went for the 1 hr Thai massage at RM$74 (S$31). 1st someone would scrub our feet for us. Then we were led into separate rooms where we change into the pjs supplied. A lavender scented eye bag is put over the eyes 1st. We were then massaged from the feet up. My back is still aching from the massage now. But we did feel more refreshed & proceeded to shop until it was time for the movie.
We came out of the theatre at 6 pm & went for dinner at the street side hawkers. We had char siew & roasted chicken rice & we shared 1 Ramly burger. Finally, we were on the bus back to Sg. We were so shagged from being out the entire day.
Woke up at 8.30 am this morning. Then we got ready to leave for my BIL's ROM at Grand Plaza Park Hotel. There was totally no planning & my BIL just dropped the bomb on us that we had to man the reception counter. As we were manning the counter, we missed the ROM ceremony completely. Lunch finally started at 12 noon. We left at 2+ pm & went to Punggol as my MIL wanted to visit Matthew (her grandson). Got back to BP at around 4 pm, shopped for some groceries at NTUC BPP & reached home at 5+ pm. Had my shower & am now relaxing at home. Jeff's meeting his friends at 8 pm, Bukit Timah Plaza for Dota. I'm tempted to go, not for the Dota but for the petshop there. They're quite resonably priced, though not as cheap as Annie's which I had boycotted (the 1 at Boon Lay) as they were never open at the stated time by 2 hours, causing me to make wasted trips several times.
If I go, I have to drive back myself. If I drive back, Jeff would have no van to drive himself home. If I stay, I'll be bored to death watching them play Dota. Oh well...
